Brett Garcia

Economics PhD candidate

University of Oregon

I am an economist actively pursuing research in the area of market power, regulation, and transportation. Across these contexts, I am focused on collecting unique datasets and employing recent computational advances to deliver relevant results. My research agenda is motivated by my extensive experience in the private sector and I am excited to bring cutting-edge tools from economics to bear on the enormous amount of data available to firms and policy makers. I am currently a job market candidate and available for interviews.
